FCA Midwest is pleased to collaborate with the

 China Care Club based at the University of Minnesota

China Care Clubs are located at various schools and universities around the US.  More information about their mission and activities can be found at the national website, http://www.chinacare.org.  The groups collaborate with various FCC and FCA chapters, Half the Sky, and China's Children International.

2016-2017 Academic year events are happening now!  Please visit our event registration section.  Activities include Playgroups, and a mentoring program. The details of the mentoring program,  are listed below:

Are you interested in having a role model for your teen or tween? Join our Mentorship Program!

Your FCA teen or tween is matched with a U of M China Care Club student mentor. They will meet 1-2 times per month near the U of M campus. They may discuss Chinese culture, practice language, share stories  - whatever interests them! You will coordinate the date and location with the mentor directly, and must accompany the child on the outing.

If interested, contact Marnie Peichel at marnie@peichel.com with the following information:

        • your child's grade;
        • your child's interests;
        • your child's birth place;
        • and what he or she would like out of the mentorship.
Please check this site for updates for their events and programs, and browse the photos below to see some our fun, shared events!  More information can also be found on their Facebook page.   You can email either president@fcamidwest, or chncare@umn.edu for more information.
